Students pursuing the Mathematical Sciences option have obtained internships with potential future employers. Students pursuing the Education option complete student teaching to satisfy their internship.

Abraham Shabanowitz Mathematics Prize - Established by Professor Emeritus Harry Shabanowitz in memory of his father and awarded to a graduating student showing outstanding achievement in the field of mathematics and holding an overall GPA of 3.00 or better.
Ph Mu Epsilon promotes mathematics while recognizing and supporting students in the field.
